Hard to find anything useful with google these days

As a programmer I use google a lot to try and find examples/code which use the various Microsoft APIs, but these days you can get 70k hits for a fairly obscure API function. It would be great if all 70 thousand of these pages were well written articles about the use of the API to achieve some useful outcome, but unfortunately 99.99% of them are just crude copies of the Microsoft documentation* or copies of other blogs which were just blog entries announcing that there was a new feature with zero useful comment.

* Unfortunately the quality has plummeted in recent years, hence searching google in the first place.
